Pop In Performers is a dynamic youth theatre company offering engaging workshops in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft. Designed to build confidence, enhance communication skills, and foster creativity, our sessions help young people shine both on stage and in everyday life.

Class Details:

Term time only.

• Thursdays: 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM at The Coach House Theatre/Great Malvern Hotel, Malvern

• Thursdays: 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM at Colwall Village Hall(in partnership with Young Colwall Players)

These are independent sessions, so you can choose the one that works best for you—or come along to both!

Who Can Join?

Our workshops are suitable for all abilities and open to young people aged 8 to 16.

What We Cover:

Our sessions are fun, engaging, and designed to develop a range of skills, some include:

• Improvisation and creative storytelling

• Memory games to boost focus and recall

• Body language and physical expression

• Dance skills to improve movement and rhythm

• Vocal improvisation to enhance control and explore timbre

• Character development to create believable performances

• Script analysis and development to deepen understanding and refine performances

• Stagecraft techniques to build confidence in performing

• Team-building exercises to promote collaboration and empathy

If you are interested in backstage opportunities and roles, we also arrange backstage-focused workshops. Our pupils are involved in developing these areas when we are putting together performances, allowing them to explore the technical side of theatre and production. Join us to explore the performing arts in a welcoming and supportive environment, suitable for all abilities!

Pop In Performers provides individual singing lessons tailored to each pupil's interests and needs. Lessons focus on strengthening weaker areas to support the development of a well-rounded singer, with programs customised to suit individual goals and abilities.

Session Lengths:

• 30 minutes

• 45 minutes

• 1 hour

Standard rate: £32 per hour.

Participants in our drama sessions are eligible for a discounted rate on singing lessons, please contact us for more details. These lessons offer a focused approach to vocal improvement, helping pupils build confidence and technique at their own pace.
